       摘   要: This presentation will focus on the role of innovation, technology and strategic thinking in broadening the definition and understanding of teaching and learning at The University of Hong Kong (HKU). The speaker will discuss HKU’s efforts to (1) renew our e-learning strategy and (2) provide Mainland China and overseas experience for 100% of our students by 2022. He will also brainstorm with participants on what actions can be taken to prepare graduates who are ready to meet global challenges.


人物简介：    
       郭予光教授，香港大学协理副校长，主管教学工作，领导香港大学Technology Enriched Learning Initiative，督导香港大学10个学院的电子学习活动，负责内容创作（10+ MOOCs, 10 SPOCs, 20+ on-campus e-learning modules)）、学习效果分析、平台建设以及全球合作与拓展等事务，协助副校长制定电子学习相关战略规划，他还曾经担任香港大学MOOC工作组主席、工程学院副院长等职务。
       他是IEEE、IET和HKIE等学术组织的Fellow，ACM高级会员，自2010年7月起担任香港大学电气电子工程系教授，还曾担任过科罗拉多州立大学电子与计算机工程系副教授(2007.8-2009.5)。他发表高水平国际期刊论文70篇，出版著作两部，10个图书章节，131篇国际会议论文，编辑4个国际会议论文集，28次会议特邀报告。目前h-index = 39，i10-index = 102，并于2014年因在“并行分布系统中的资源调度算法”方面的贡献当选为IEEE Fellow。
